Jeff Thibodeaux

Hello! I am Jeff Thibodeaux. I have called Santa Fe, New Mexico home since 1994. My early years were spent in Southern California, Anchorage, Alaska, and many happy summers in Mississippi and Louisiana.

An artist and designer, I went to school at the University of Alaska, and Cornish Art Institute in Seattle Washington. My art background eventually led me to a job with Wild Oats Markets Inc. I worked in marketing / merchandising for Wild Oats in Santa Fe, NM from 1994-1997. I then began my career as Corporate Designer for Wild Oats Markets, designing from 1997-2002, 64 stores for Wild Oats Markets all over the continental United States.

Coinciding with my design work , I have a passion for all things CHRISTMAS !!! Through the years I have done Holiday decorations for Frederick and Nelson Department Stores in Seattle WA, the Inn of the Anasazi in Santa Fe NM, The Club at Las Campanas Santa Fe NM, and numerous private residences from North Carolina to Costa Rica. In 1996, after seeing my work for the Inn of the Anasazi in Santa Fe, I was approached by Sunset magazine to make one of my custom wreaths for the Dec 1997 cover (see portfolio for complete article). I continue to do Holiday decorations for large corporations, and private residences throughout the US. Decorating for the Holidays is truly one of the joys of my life. I am an accomplished floral designer and have created many beautiful weddings throughout the years, in Italy, California, Mississippi and Santa Fe.

From 2003 to present I have been doing interior design, most recently the Lindell home, located in Las Campanas Santa Fe, New Mexcio, as well as numerous other projects in New Mexico, Mississippi, California and North Carolina.

I am presently working on a private residence in Santa Fe. Also in the works are 14 luxury condos under construction here in Santa Fe, "Los Cielos Compound", and a Villa in Costa Rica. Also I am very excited about 2008! I have been asked to do my most ambitious wedding party yet. A wedding for 100 people that will take place in Goa, India. And a book of my design style is in the works. It is going to be a wild year!!
